Junior Client Manager
You’ll be working in our newly renovated, heritage Gastown office with a small, friendly team of experts who love what we do and are committed to fostering a positive, healthy work environment. (That means a forty-hour work week, great clients, and stimulating work, among other good things.)
Responsibilities:
You will be the primary contact and project manager for our ever-growing list of beloved clients, including non-profits, governmental organizations and progressive businesses. This is an entry level position with room to grow over time within the company.
- Managing relationships with ongoing clients: This includes scheduling and managing maintenance and updates, providing quotes for additional work, and working with our Senior Project Manager to schedule projects and provide timelines;
- Responding to client emails and phone calls;
- Minor updates and maintenance of websites: making text and image updates to websites using Drupal and WordPress CMSs, and occasionally with Dreamweaver;
- Managing the production and delivery of email newsletters;
- Providing regular updates to team and clients on progress.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience working on smaller teams – we are currently a five-person studio.
Must-Haves:
- Experience with project management
- Strong communicator and good people person
- Detail oriented
- Good time manager
- Customer service experience
- Basic HTML knowledge
- Basic familiarity with production aspects of Photoshop
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office or equivalent
- Comfortable working in a predominantly Mac environment, with some Windows use
- Available for 9-5 work, five days a week
- Strong English language skills
Bonus Points For:
- Fluency with Dreamweaver
- Familiarity with CSS
- Familiarity with Drupal, WordPress or other Content Management Systems
- Familiarity with Constant Contact, MailChimp, Vertical Response, and/or other hosted email management systems

- Efficiency: Great at prioritizing and handling deadlines;
- Interested in developing further skills in project and client management in a small, friendly company committed to producing high-quality work.

About the Position
5 day a week salaried position with benefits package (medical, dental and profit-sharing bonus structure). Salary range for the full-time position starts at $45,000/year, and is commensurate with experience.
